2. RESPONSIBILITY

THE SENDER declares that he is the owner of the shipment and/or that he acts on behalf of the owner and/or whoever has rights over them. That your shipments are properly closed and that their content is what you declare and that THEY ARE NOT dangerous materials, explosive fuels, precious stones or metals, cash, securities of any nature, checks, paintings, artistic objects, works of art, furs , firearms, drugs or any object and/or materials of prohibited or restricted commercialization, of illicit origin or considered illicit, excluding NATIONAL COURIER DIRECT X.P. from all liability for damages or losses resulting from non-compliance with any of these conditions.

Dangerous goods of any kind will not be accepted for domestic shipments, except those that comply with the relevant legislation of the Postal Regulation Agency. With respect to international shipments, shipments considered Dangerous Goods (DGR's) cannot be transported, and only shipments regulated by IATA can be transported. NATIONAL COURIER DIRECT X.P. will not be liable for loss or damage due to acts of God or force majeure and/or events coming from third parties such as stoppages, strikes, accidents, robberies, civil commotion, alteration of public order, alterations in air or land transportation networks, as well as defects. hidden, latent or inherent defects in the shipment, for mechanical damage to transport service vehicles and in any case for events not attributable to NATIONAL COURIER X.P. National Courier Direct X.P. will not be responsible for damages or losses resulting from incomplete or erroneous information provided by the sender. At the request of THE SENDER, NATIONAL COURIER DIRECT X.P. may take out insurance on behalf of THE SENDER. The insurance will only cover the risks covered by it and under the conditions established therein. The cost of the insurance premium paid by THE SENDER will be 1% of the declared value or a minimum of USD 3 plus VAT, for the National Service; and 1% of the declared value or minimum USD 13.5 plus VAT for the International Service. Not all shipments are automatically insured. If your shipment is Fragile, High Value or Important to you, we suggest you insure it.

3. CLAIMS

The transportation contract is considered executed to the satisfaction of THE SENDER. If seventy-two hours have elapsed after the shipment has been delivered to NATIONAL COURIER DIRECT X.P. No claim is made for non-delivery or abnormal delivery, all claims will be presented in writing or via email to the executive or official in charge of your account, attaching the payment receipt and the proof of shipment guide. Otherwise, all claims will be void.

4. GROSS WEIGHT AND VOLUMETRIC WEIGHT

For the Logistics service of transporting documents and packages at a National and International level, the weight that will be charged is the greater of the gross and volumetric weight. The formula to obtain the volumetric weight is: Length x Width x Height divided in centimeters for 5000.
